To qualify for RON, I must pass the Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) and have valid government issued photo id.

I understand additional charges may be applied for failure to pass the KBA's for any reason and recording sessions lasting longer than 30 minutes.

I understand payments made can be used towards traditional in person notary service where service is available or future RON sessions.

The RON's function is to verify identity and observe the signing process. The RON is not an attorney and cannot offer any legal advice or interpret the document(s) for me.

I understand the final document I will sign will be sent to me with the invitation. It is my responsibility to check for any errors prior to the start of the session. If an additional session is needed, I understand I may be charged for the cost.

I understand using a RON requires my participation in a two-way audio and video communication process involving a web cam or smart phone. The entire process will be recorded and I understand that technical issues may result in multiple recordings included in a single session.

I agree to use an electronic signature to sign the document(s) during the session. I understand the contents of the document(s) I will be signing during the RON Session. I understand and agree that by signing the document(s), I am legally binding myself to the terms of the document(s) included in the RON session.

If one or more of the document(s) require an oath, I understand that I will be required to swear or affirm under penalty of perjury that the statements made in the document(s) are true to the best of my knowledge or belief. I understand that a single RON session could contain multiple documents requiring several signatures and/or Oaths, in which my consent applies to all.
